PhD theses abstracts are mainly rewriting the main case study or whatever in different sentences. I link this to the power of repetition, a demanded object in our daily lives to forcibly make the brain retain information. Sounds boring in the first 3-4 sentences, but it's necessary I guess.

People got so caught up in wanting to be "right" all the time that they forgot the core reasons for social apps. I've been using Facebook since 2010 just to play a cool farm game, to have fun and talk to others. Not every medium is a debate podium.

Something I enjoy on BlueSky is that there is zero blue-tick holders who do that annoying Chat-GPT rewriting/explaining of tweets so that they farm engagements. It is both admirable (the hustle and effort of constantly doing so) and annoying.

Everyday I wake up, trying to learn a hundred things at once, knowing full well that it won't materialise. I need to read about philosophy AI neural networks history geology etc. The key is to "lock in" on one subject for 2 weeks and you'll get the hang of it, but my poor ADHD arse can't do it.

Russia is evil for vetoing the UN's Security council decision to "Protect civilians" in Sudan, yet the USA is the bearer of all good although they vetoed the ceasefire appeal between Palestine and Israel. Checks out.

There has to be a term or something, about people who: When they want to criticise something; they immediately bring up the fact that they're big fans and really fond of that something. Like a fire extinguisher to put out any backlash. I find it amusing the extent they go in order to not get hate.
