I love that I have a little group of indie dev pals on here now. It just makes me really happy to be able to impart wisdom and talk shop with people who get it. I've been studying game design and analyzing games my entire life; to finally have people to talk about it with makes me so happy.

It just occurred to me why I've been so exhausted and had a hard time working on games lately. I started a new day job in January and I'm still getting acclimated. That's a difficult process even for a neurotypical, much less someone with autism (like me). I need to work on giving myself a break.

For the first time in my life, I'm not going to get a Nintendo console at launch. The reduced availability is one thing, but Mario Kart World is multiplayer focused andI won't have anyone to play with. I can get Metroid Prime 4 and Legends ZA on Switch 1, so... yeah. Not doing it this time.

I accidentally stayed up all night (and all day) playing Two Point Museum. @commandersterling.bsky.social was right. This is a fucking fantastic game. You should play it if you like fun, silly management sims.
