For years we've heard from the right about "welfare queens" and other so-called "freeloaders" pulling one over on the government. But actually, it's the wealthy who are the real freeloaders — pulling one over on us all by skirting their taxes. Where is the outrage over that?

The disastrous Citizens United decision put a for-sale sign on our democracy and has permitted $15 BILLION in outside spending since 2010. Our campaign finance system is broken, and if we want to fix it, we need to #EndCitizensUnited.

They don’t have the right to dictate my life.

If you commit Medicaid/Medicare fraud (even imaginary fraud), Republicans will try to punish you. Unless you do it on an HUGE scale, then they will reward you.

Did you read the book about Joe’s decline? Big Bill: No because he’s not the president anymore and he did a good job when he was the president.

GOP claimed that COVID contact tracing was “government overreach.” They said that background checks violated freedom. They wanted to ban data collection about gun violence. But now they have hired Palantir to track us all. This is the machinery of a surveillance state, run by billionaires.

Raskin: This is a gangster state. This is not basically a legitimate government that is sometimes doing corrupt things. This is an essentially corrupt enterprise. It's like watching The Sopranos. Every day, they get up and they try to figure out how to plunder and pillage the people

The new GOP slogan (thank you, Joni Ernst.)

"Well, we are all going to die." --Senator Joni Ernst That has to be the glibbest way any politician has ever told a constituent that they didn’t give a shit about them.

We all new what was the agenda of Project 2025. We were screaming it from the rooftops. People didn’t believe us, and here we are.

This has always been the GOP's strategy: 1) Cut taxes for the wealthy & corporations by claiming they'll pay for themselves. 2) Explode the deficit. 3) Demand cuts to vital programs that help millions. 4) Repeat. They're trying to get away with it again.
