The Seattle Sounders have announced a new "First Match On Us" initiative. Essentially, it's free tickets to select matches for anyone who hasn't attended a Sounders game before. Seattle say they want to grow the game. This is a great way to do so. Awesome idea 👏👏

Our design & branding team is very good. And I know many of them. I don’t know what happened here, but it seems the blue came out as black and the yellow as gold. It looks so much like it should be LAFC. This doesn’t look a damn thing like St Louis City.

I’m only now getting a chance to look at this new set of rules. Not the complete overhaul that nearly everyone was seeking, but the white-knuckle grip on the reins of spending is being loosened. Cash transfers make headlines, but the elimination of GAM expiration dates may be the biggest change.
