My "Personal Liberty Law" for the MAGA era is simple: if local police see what looks like a kidnapping, they should treat it like a kidnapping (including interceding with force) unless/until they have *actual knowledge* (verbal declarations don't count) that the "abductors" are in fact other LEOs.
