🚨🚨 Apologies but what a bloody fucking horrific shitshow of a press briefing! I cannot with words express how much disgust and contempt I feel for the traitorous evil scumbags Donald Trump & JD Vance. And my respect & regard for Zelenskyy has never been higher- a true leader of the Western World.👇👇

When someone says neuropsychology but mean cognitive psychology/neuroscience

A statement but far from a solution to anything.

On my way to #BNSAutumn24. @britishneuropsych.bsky.social

I had an amazing time at #Psynom24 in New York City 🏙️, where I presented work @pennypexman.bsky.social @rjbinney.bsky.social Emiko Muraki and I have conducted on the contributions of social experience to concept knowledge 🗣️ See our latest paper here: doi.org/10.1016/j.co...

My toddler daughter is a fan of our traditional collections in the library at Bangor University.

These 5 bright psychology undergraduate students are learning to use magnetic resonance imaging to research brain function at Bangor University. I’m proud we can offer this student experience via our world class imaging facility in the College of Medicine and Health.

Looking forward to welcoming you as BNS program secretary for the penultimate time.

A project about abstract verb representation.

New Preprint!🚨A really fun project because it (i) had cool design and interesting results, and (ii) involved working with Emiko Muraki and Penny Pexman! Emiko led this work and was funded by Mitacs Canada to scan in our world class imaging centre at Bangor University. www.biorxiv.org/content/10.1...

Great time at the Seeing and Acting Workshop at Coimbra University, Portugal, a few weeks ago. PhD student Irina Giurgea and I took posters to showcase new work on conceptual knowledge representation, socialness and reward processing (collaborations with Penny Pexman and Veronica Diveica).

Check out this new Registered-Reports start-up grant from the British Neuropsychological Society! 🧠💸 One award is available per year (max £1,000). The call for applications is now open and the winner is announced at the Spring 2025 meeting. Visit our website for further details: the-bns.org

I don’t know if people here have seen this here but there is a new #psychjob wiki sites.google.com/view/psychjo... #SocialPsych #Psychology #PsySciSky

My take: men should do better, women should say no more. But, more importantly, we need good managers. We're placing too much responsibility/power on the individual and not the senior management who should balance these responsibilities more appropriately and offer genuine support and mentorship.

🧠British Neuropsych Society 🧠 Spring Meeting 2024. 🚨Just weeks away! 🚨For the full programme, and to register for just 🌟£15🌟, please visit www.the-bns.org/meetings

In a 🚨 new paper 🚨: doi.org/10.1037/xlm0..., @pennypexman.bsky.social, @rjbinney.bsky.social, Emiko Muraki and I provide empirical evidence that social experience makes unique contributions to conceptual knowledge 🧵
