This is what not giving up looks like.

"The biggest reason for long-term optimism is the most obvious: people are finding their voices. Please use yours." www.democracydocket.com/opinion/rage...

Trump openly defied SCOTUS' ruling that he must bring Abrego Garcia back to USA yesterday. This may not be officially a constitutional crisis until SCOTUS rules on Trump's non-attempt to comply, but Trump's intentions are to provoke crisis is now irrefutable. www.motherjones.com/politics/202...

New pod: @swin24.bsky.social is great in explaining that the authoritarian takeover is upon us. Trump's meeting with Bukele is a coming-out party, an open declaration of US alignment with global autocrats and dictators. "It has happened here," he says. Listen: newrepublic.com/article/1939...

Lawsuit agst Dept of Energy for illegal research grant terminations includes, Brown, CalTech, Cornell, Univ Illinois, MIT, U Mich and Mich state, Princeton and Rochester. storage.courtlistener.com/recap/gov.us...

Failing to acknowledge that we are in a moment of national crisis unrivaled in our history is not only denying reality it is inviting disaster. Failing to use every legal tool at our disposal to resist & preserve our freedoms is a betrayal of every past, current and future generation of Americans.

Reminder: Trump’s crypto coin is an obvious avenue for bribery, and everyone should be horrified — Good explanation 👇🏽 (And everyone who wanted Biden charged for bribery is silent 🤐 as Trump moves to free the informant who lied to the FBI about it)

WATCH: “Ron Vara is an anagram of Navarro.” @maddow.msnbc.com explains how Trump’s tariffs policy came from his economic advisor Peter Navarro, who invented a fake expert in his books to justify it🤦🏻‍♂️ 🤦🏼 And now markets are crashing 🎪 #TrumpTradeWar #AmericanBrexit

I wrote about how America seems to have gone mad and what that does to anyone trying to stay sane. Read at @liberalcurrents.com www.liberalcurrents.com/youre-not-cr...

“We must be unafraid to be viewed as crazy, hyperbolic, over-the-top, and otherwise out there. Too many assessments of this moment still underestimate the danger. And far too many commentators spent the preceding years tut-tutting.” @aselrod.bsky.social with a reminder that we’re not the crazy ones

Great turnout in Champaign-Urbana for #Hands-Off. my guess is 1000 people. Great enthusiastic chants...Public health. Bring it Back

Hands off! In Champaign-Urbana!

It’s weird* that the president can just decide to put a huge tax on American businesses without congress even being a little bit involved. * very unconstitutional

If you think this can’t happen, remember that of the 125,000 Japanese Americans who were interned during WWII for years without charge or trial, two-thirds were U.S. citizens. Including me.

Tell me again why we’re letting a 78 year old, legit smelly, odorous, frail, loser old man who bankrupted a CASINO bankrupt the country? Congress? Any answers?

New US tariffs are so thoughtful that even a revival in the Antarctic elephant seal oil trade hasn't been ignored. Uninhabited Heard Island, where seal oil exports via New London & Mystic peaked in 1858, gets hit with 10% #envhum #islands #archaeology #WorldHeritage @heardislandgov.bsky.social

A lynching postcard. Evocative and disturbingly fitting description of Kristi Noem’s glam photo in front of prisoners in El Salvador, where the US is illegally shipping people, including some who committed no crime or seemingly did anything wrong. By @aselrod.bsky.social in @liberalcurrents.com.

It's simple. Everyone in the US enjoys the protections of the Constitution - even visitors. So if someone commits a crime here, you give them due process here. You charge them here, try them here, and sentence them here. You don't deport them to an offshore torture prison.
