Here's a cool photo by my sister-in-law that I think you might like. She has this and others on Unsplash where you can download them for free in hi-resolution - unsplash.com/photos/QW92h...

I have a collection of photos on Unsplash where they can be downloaded for free in high resolution. Here is one that I took several years ago in the Bitterroot Valley of Montana. unsplash.com/photos/brown...

This is an AI generated image because, as we all know, squirrels do not ride in flying saucers. Yet, they don't do it yet. Next week, well, you never know.

A friend texted that they were clearing out some of their old LPs and that I should stop by ASAP. Good thing I did as this was in the outgoing box. Direct from 1966, the Mamas & the Papas first studio album! Playing now on the old disc spinner.

A bit of humor here. A small flaw in MSFS24 causes passengers in some airplanes to "wing walk". If this isn't funny, well, I don't know what to say.

Donald Trump stops repairs of electronics equipment - www.cnn.com/2025/02/04/b... Unless the parts needed are in stock in the US now, and most aren't, they will not be coming into the US. So, if you have audio gear, phones, computers, etc. "in the shop", too bad. You are sunk.

'57 hood rocket. Too bad we don't have them in '25! A styling fad, for sure, but woo cool

A couple of posts back I showed my work adjusting a reel-to-reel tape recorder. I was thinking, "What is the torque in foot-pounds on the reels?" Well, were is the result of my speculations.

Check this out - I snagged a cool bargain recently. The Baja Marimba Band on a reel-to-reel tape! Oh, yea, livin' in the '60s!

Here's an example of why science, real science, in high school is important. The point is, I actually understand what is going on here and why it works. I acquired a TEAC A-4010S reel-to-reel recorder recently, but, alas, the thing is a tape snapper. This setup lets me check the torque on the reel.

Space Pirates approaching!

I keep telling you, they are out there! Now they are going public!

A little foggy here. Well, a LOT foggy here.
