Donating to a democrat doesnt count “as resisting” They are too comfortable just being the “opposotion” in name only while failing to actually organize anything real. They are wasting space that is needed for real leaders. We need fighters with concrete ideas of what we need to fix NOW.

We don’t have an “Oligarchy” problem! We simply have a need for campaign finance reform. This should be easily solvable. Only problem: Democrats have their own oligarchs - and both sides have sold themselves to their donor class.

Was proud to march at my local #nokings protest. Happy to see my neighbors out in force. But I despair at the fact that such demonstrations do exactly NOTHING to change anything real. No plan / no policy / no direction. I guess for now all we can do is resist??? I want more

Its the partisanship that the problem. We wont fix our country by swinging left to right in a downward spiral. We need non partisans to step up and remove the corruption

I think we should have government spokespeople give briefings under oath.

The fact that ICE agents feel the need to cover their faces says pretty much everything you need to know.

The big beautiful bill contains the seeds of death for our democracy. This isn’t right versus left anymore. It’s democracy vs authoritarianism. No support for this bill is forgivable.

Twitter has become just a collection of racists freaking out about things that aren’t even true. If that is our “town square” it’s time to break out the bulldozers.

Im worried that nobody understands that campaign finance is what we need to fix. All the pathology of our current system traces back to how money flows. With unlimited outside money, “representative democracy” died long ago

Citizens need to be concentrating their attention on where they can make a real impact. Fascist regimes don’t care if you go to a Bernie rally or protest in the street. They only respond to true “hard” power. And NOBODY is talking about how to create that.

Few things are scarier to me these days than the fact that so few of our fellow citizens understand what a fundamental principle “due process” is supposed to be. If not for the actual rule of law, this society would collapse into “the lord of the flies” territory in a heartbeat

Wait… by pardoning the J6ers, Trump has directly provided “aid and comfort” to enemies of the constitution. Which is both the constitutions’ definition of treason, and disqualifies thin from office clearly under the 14th amendment.

The only thing that can save us from trump is making the gop on Capitol Hill understand they will lose their next election if they don’t back away from maga. We only need a few to break him.

I’m physically sickened that our government thinks it’s ok to disappear a human being to El Salvador with no due process. If trump was treated the same way by the legal system, we wouldn’t be in this mess.

@represent.us you are in the best position to save America from autocracy. We need to start organizing to primary GOP politicians who don’t rein trump in. See my recent string of posts. We can’t fix the system if it has been dismantled before the midterms. Time to engage

Resisting the autocratic creep of the Trump administration isn’t a partisan thing. It’s just about our constitution and our freedom. If you can’t understand that, you are a HUGE part of the problem.

I’ve been thinking about this moment in politics through the same lens that brought me to my concept for ROAM… and I think the solution to our short term political ills can be addressed by the same kind of non partisan thought… 1/

What do we do if Kilmar Armando Abrego Garcia has already been killed in prison?

loving the resitsance, but turning out in the streets doesnt do anything unless we have an ASK. What specifically do we want our politicians to do? If we cant articulate that, we cant hold them accountable. youtu.be/JjlTiny8waY

We cant just complain about Trump. Its all of his enablers that are at fault here as well. Starting with the Senate GOP. Let THEM know we are going to hold them accountable

I just discovered Something actually good to do on twitter! When someone says something insane and untrue (80%of posts) use @grok to ask their AI to instantly fact-check them.

Let’s be SUPER CLEAR: Standing up for Ukraine does not make you a traitor. Siding with Putin DOES.

Its not just our attorneys general that should be acting to stop this. Its blatant corruption. Its unacceptable. we should be more mad. More protests of tesla dealerships are needed, and if there is a way to peacefully impede SpaceX we need to do that too. www.newsweek.com/elon-musk-wi...

I know that “#RESIST” is a simple easy to grasp concept… but it’s starting to piss me off, because it isn’t a call to DO anything useful! If we want to FIX our democracy we need to #votethemout if they Don’t support #roam. Our votes and the threats thereof are our power. We need to organize

Everyone is saying "we must stand up" or "Resist"... and in the fact of a legitimate burgeoning autocracy, that isnt a "partisan" thing: Its an "American" thing to expect our public servants to adhere to the constitution. But what are you actually gong to DO about it? Posting #resist does NOTHING

Tesla boycott is having real effects. Do the same with TWITTER!
