Trump and his administration seem to think Americans will be ok with American auto alternatives to BMW, Mercedes, VW, Audi, Lexus, Infiniti, Acura, Range Rover, … etc. I think he’s measured that incorrectly. And if he’s pushing Tesla - they are like the Pontiac of today’s EV autos.
