Not sure which of my coworkers titled this picture in our reference collection but I’m a big fan

Really vividly remember the first time I heard this. One of those life-altering records.

"Moments before the shaking started they reacted" No, they felt the sharp "pop" of the faster Primary wave (P-wave) arrive a few seconds before the Secondary wave (S-wave) and surface waves generated by it arrived. Your phone app early warning works by exploiting that same difference.

one of the funnier things about being obsessed with both sports in politics is the dramatic contrast in views of age politics: 34?! what a wunderkind, they can’t even run for president yet, they’ll be around forever sports: 34?! so ancient, how have their knees not fallen off yet

Lest we forget.

Marmite people, this an Article 5 situation. An attack on one of us is an attack on all of us.

Saw wood ducks today! Also saw a lady mallard try really hard to drown a dude mallard. He managed to escape, but she chased him in flight to who-knows-where. She was MAD.

We got hold of one of those Alexis Microverb4 effects units and its so baffling it feels like someone has broken reality, and not in a good way. We've done a write up here, but don't expect any answers because absolutely nothing makes sense anymore Yes the print has been milled off that DSP chip...

Looking forward to a nice convo with a journalist writing about space, space stunts, and the failure of Gerry O'Neill's vision for the humanization of space. Happy to talk with others.

Quite an effective advanced alert there. At Kaiser in Los Feliz and we all had about 60 seconds before we felt the shaking

The science behind the #SciArt! Lots of flowers have colours that can't be seen within the human visible spectrum. So I made a pin badge that changes colour to reveal a (visible) rainbow using the uv in sunlight! canopyrobin.etsy.com/listing/1885...

Trying this again since I have more followers 😁 Does anyone have a good supplier for die-cut fridge magnets 🧲 in Canada? Merci 🙏

This is #TorontoDanforth Lake Shore Blvd (westbound) east of Carlaw Av Can't say I've ever heard my elected municipal representative say these words out loud. It's nice to know someone in the city is conscious of these absolute truths. h/t Kay Pea #BikeTO

I applaud this, but "weirdest thing possible" is a gauntlet thrown down.
