There are always going to be flaws in UConn's defense because they just don't have the same level of defender this year as they've had. But the effort tonight, the rotations, have been terrific since about the 14 minute mark. With the weapons they have offensively, that's enough to be really good.

I think those last three possessions really sum up my big picture concern for Kentucky this season. With the obvious caveat that this is a road game against a good Clemson team, all three ended with threes from guys that can make threes but you'd hardly consider a shooter.

I feel for Louisville. They brought in 12 new guys this summer. Four of them are now redshirting due to injury, and that doesn't include Aboubocar Traore, who is out with a broken arm. Three of their top six guys are out.
