THIS FIFTEENTH TIME IS ABSOLUTELY YOUR RED LINE.

He thinks we should be happy at all the lawsuits we are winning against Trump, instead he should be yelling about the fact that those winning lawsuits make no difference. 2/fin

So it was funny when you brought up Mad Men later on. I love Hamm but Slattery is more my type.

Great episode. You did it. When you brought up the three parties/A Tale of Two Cities, I immediately thought of Mad Men: My Old Kentucky Home, which one of our wonderful writers compared with A Midsummer Night’s Dream…

When MySpace came along, I noticed the gap between me and some friends who way younger than me, where I was a lot more protective about sharing public information connected with your name than they were. I LOVED MySpace.

There was also internet dating sites. Most people’s online presence was still anonymous - handles. The Friendster premise was a vouching system. (Yes I’m live-blogging as I listen.)

Exactly. The shoes are just the right amount of kitch/twee. The socks are too much. TLo hates Mary Jane, and I think this flavor of shoe is MJ adjacent, so I understand why they threw it to us.

I’m not mad because you’re wrong, I’m mad because you’re completely right and I’ve never distinguished it and now it’s out of the bottle.

Eww.

I totally get that, but it works.

I’ve never noticed you interrupting too much (a thing I notice), so sure, always good to take a note, but don’t take it hard.

I so enjoy this podcast. Meandering, offbeat (literally, like rhythm) ADHD conversation done wrong would annoy the crap out of me, but the two of you delight me. And inside of that…

The thing is, Seth Cohen isn’t real. A charming actor written to be our favorite. Were he real he’d have slimed on every girl in his class by now, and his hygiene would be questionable at best. My version of Alex’s advice is: don’t confuse being a character with having character.

JD is also serious about this project.

He’s also asserting dominance/teachers pet-ism over zuck.

Maybe it’s the fact that it’s a year plus I’ve been under this Long Covid thumb, and I’m not saying there weren’t brilliant moments, but I might hate season six.

I think a large percentage of what I know is the long list of things I don’t know.

Your trip sounded wonderful.

Just read your show notes - I’ve had lots of back issues and know the pain and restriction well. So glad you have a solid treatment plan. Take all the time you need.

You won’t get it from the office. Hopefully from other tenants and public records.

Remember everybody’s reaction to Chris March’s human hair garments on Project Runway? Gross.

Absolutely never promised. He indicated, but he was always deliberately vague so as not to back himself into a corner.

Hell of an essay. Was glad you brought Polly Platt by way of Karina Longworth into it. I was one of those kids too, saw this in the movies. (Belated birthday wishes, btw💜)

Everybody made me switch to it years ago and it’s the worst. Sort by sender is not an exotic ask.

This was my first thought, followed by that wackjob Louise Mensch.

Hallmark Christmas movies are the worst. I understand that sentence can stand alone, but I’m talking specifically about all the hot chocolate that isn’t.

Your complaints about the muddled, indecipherable nature of the songs and plot are the same problems with the show. I’m looking forward to the film, I know I will love it, but I was hoping that some of that was fleshed out and clarified.
