Worst: Ariel Pink at Bimbo’s in San Francisco 2010. He refused sound check, came to the stage super late, then spent the first 10 minutes berating the sound guy to make his voice sound “a thousand years old.” Best: Mdou Moctar playing to maybe 15 music nerds at Opolis in Norman Oklahoma, 2019.
