A milestone occurs. Thank you so much to everyone who has subscribed to my humble little channel, and put up with the hat. 🃏 More videos to come for sure. #retrocomputing

This afternoon’s quick Lego build was the new Mario Kart set. I’m surprised it’s taken so long for Lego to release a range based on this theme. The software update adds new features to Mario. Lots of fun!

I'm now changing up a gear and over the next few days will post some of the finest Xmas video mag game covers of all time - all painted by legendary artist Oli Frey. This was his first, created in 1984 for CRASH. Striking, bold, slightly offbeat, and just festively brilliant.

In Xmas 1986, Oli Frey created one of the all-time great festive video game mag covers for CRASH. This black-and-white ink sketch is painstakingly drawn, packed with details, and not ruined by loads of cover lines. And holy crap - that's £26,000 worth of prizes in today's money!

My fave bit of news today 💚💚 I am sprout obsessed....all year round You?? news.sky.com/story/brusse...

Mark Sibly, the original creator of Blitz BASIC and it's numerous descendants, has died. 🫡

For those of you who have bought #TheSpectrum we recommend that you track down and use the original roms as it increases compatibility 👍 The ROM image files must be stored in the folder /THESPECTRUM/roms/ on your USB stick. Look at the 4th picture for the Rom names that you will need.

I was amazed that Mrs H gave me the all clear to put my signed framed Pyramid poster from Crash Live next to her signed comedy bits on our stair wall. Not only that but she said she liked it as it gave a nice bit of colour. I still don’t think she’ll turn to Retrogaming, though! 😂
