Little guys, ready to travel around the world 🎒

Back in 2021, PMG reported on the unseen games industry crunch taking place at outsourcing studios in SE Asia. Since then, the companies we looked at have continued to work on some of the biggest games in the world, without any push to improve the conditions of the artists doing that work. (1/7)

A lot of memes are based on illustrations and comics that an artist made, but people remove all mention of the artist to make it seem as if the image sprang out of the ether, that it belongs to everyone. Especially in this day and age, it's important to assert when art is made by human hands.

A lot happened to me in 2024. While some of it was difficult, overall things have turned out for the better. And I got to draw a lot of interesting things! Here are some art highlights of the year.

After years away from game dev, I couldn’t stay silent about my people’s dehumanization. I made Dreams on a Pillow 🍉a game inspired by a famous Palestinian folktale about the 1948 Nakba. I’m crowdfunding it now—please back & share! 🔗 launchgood.com/1948

I thought that the dissonance was strong with the 'gamers' who are complaining about Sweet Baby Inc. brigading indie titles that they'd never heard of or cared about, but apparently the whole movement was started by someone with... concerns over games they'd never played. What even is 'gaming'?
