Jesuits run on doubt, so I wasn't surprised but always appreciated Francis's message to atheists. When asking for prayers, he added 'If you cannot pray, or do not believe, think of me' - and in general, the non-believer should 'confront themselves with their conscience & the wisdom of their people.'

Has an infamous Victoria celebrity surfaced under a new identity?

EXCLUSIVE: Leading candidates for pope include Bo of Myanmar, Parolin of Italy, and Duane of Langford.

Cycling to work this morning @ Quadra and Johnson and a guy in a mobility scooter runs a red light and comes literally within inches of getting completely smoked by an oncoming car. I yelled at the dude but he just kept going, completely oblivious. Incredible to watch. #yyj

I'm thinking about abandoning mowing my lawn and maintaining the landscaping but eventually it would get overgrown and abandoned cars, railroad tracks, stray dogs, and drifters would appear and I'm certain Tom Waits and Harry Dean Stanton would be involved somehow.
