Stonekeep is a 1995 FMV dungeon crawler released by Interplay. While many games of this style and era didn’t age so well, Stonekeep stands put with its more intuitive dungeon crawling mechanics. The visuals, not so much, but they make for an interesting time capsule of what pc gaming was like.

The graphics are a bit crunchy as was the style at the time, but they have a nice nostalgic vibe. This game is pretty dark, it’s wild that it didn’t get an M rating.

Bloody Wolf is a PC Engine run and gun shmup arcade port released by Data East in 1989. This game can best be described as a mixture of NES Metal Gear and Metal Slug. One feature I love is that you can get a motorcycle power up that the game totally didn’t need to have, yet it does. #videogames
