I get that it’s a special election, so the only race going on, but I stg I’ve had more @davidformn40b.bsky.social volunteers canvassing my neighborhood than any other House race in this district in the 20 years I’ve lived here. And the other day a 2nd hand-written postcard arrived from NY this time

My mom died 12/11/24. Death certificate was filed 12/16. SSA pulled her December benefit on 12/20. It wasn’t even a surprise, as several friends had told me to expect that.

I was served a YouTube ad for Paul Wikstrom last night that started out asking, “Are you a DFLer who is mad about Curtis Johnson? Did you know that Gottfried supported Johnson?” I’m furious about the Johnson situation, but there’s still no way I’m voting for you. It’s cute of you to think I might.

My HS senior son is hosting a Super Bowl party with a bunch of his closest friends. We bought the pizza and the rest is potluck. Most of it is store-bought, but the couple kids who brought homemade items all are labeled with ingredients and allergens. 😍

what rightly frustrates people, myself included, are these descriptive posts. we already know what’s going on. what are you going to *do* about it. call for hearings. call for impeachment. withhold your vote. promise complete obstruction. anything!

If you felt compelled by Bishop Mariann Budde to find that kind of Christianity, know we are out there. Check your mainline churches. Episcopal, ELCA, UCC, United Methodist, PCUSA, and a few others. There are women in those pulpits preaching the gospel of an empathetic, loving, inclusive God.
