I played Nightreign for an hour, knowing nothing about it. I’m launched into a game with two (seemingly experienced) players; all I do is follow them as we zip from boss to boss, miraculously surviving & leveling me all the way to 10. We died to the day 3 boss. I understand the game even less now

I finished my 4th rewatch of Mad Men yesterday. I remember being a bit disappointed with the ending when it aired, but I’m not sure why now. It’s a magnificent finale, just like the rest of the show. A top-tier series for me – every character is great, and all the arcs build & resolve masterfully.

3 weeks later and I’d like to confirm that this works. I instructed the case fans to react to the motherboard’s temperature instead of the CPU temperature. Huge difference. I never had a single irregularity with the fans since then. 👌🏼

I regret buying a 16-core CPU (Ryzen 7950X3D). It gets hot even on idle, which revs up the fans constantly for no reason. I adjusted the fan curve but even then… it spikes from 45° to 61° on a whim. It was the only available CPU for me at the time. I can’t wait to replace it… in 6 years >.>

This is probably why 🦋 doesn’t feel good to use. I know that it’s on me to curate a following list, but I feel like I always see rage baiting material. That ends up affecting my mood and energy. It’s surreal to go from 20 frames with my 3080 Ti @ 4K resolution to 180~220 frames… with Path Tracing no less. (DLSS Balanced) We made fun of Jensen Huang in January when he unveiled 4x Frame Gen but it… just works? I know that this is a sample of one game, but I’m stunned.

It took forever to find GPU stock locally, but I’m glad I was able to upgrade from 3080 Ti to 5080. The former is a beast, but once I moved to a 4K screen, it proved difficult to run games well. Cyberpunk with full Path Tracing at max settings @ 120 frames is a dream. 3x frame gen, DLSS Quality 🥲🧡

MAYHEM is excellent. Gaga hasn’t been this on fire since ARTPOP. Abracadabra’s choreography alone is better than this entire decade of experimentation from her… but as an album, MAYHEM is a warm dark-pop blanket that we’ve been waiting for for so long. We’re so back!!!
