Today, we at Google have a new product: what if you could could ask an app a question? Oh, we do that already? Well, what if we were a little bit worse at it? Fun Fact: Purdue is the first school in Big Ten history to finish the season in 18th place.

I expected #iufb to dominate. Seems uncommon for expectations to be exceeded so spectacularly. Tremendous win. Here's proof that we stayed in the cold until the end. #NeverDaunted #bucket

I say this a lot and it's why I'm so popular with many friends: someone who looked at this game and made it and it was their job every day also made Metroid Prime.

"Disrupt" is code for "Destroy reliable established services so that money previously widely distributed now funnels into a single source." Just like "AI" is code for "Mine the work humans did in the past so we don't have to pay them for their work in the future." That's why VCs like both words.

Threatening federal legislation because #iufb is finally good is hilarious, bonkers, and so very satisfying.

Not hearing enough talk about that epic Gojira performance at the Opening Ceremony. They absolutely rocked! I hope there's a Closing Ceremony encore.

Achievement Unlocked: enjoyed some All Dressed Chips. Thank you, Canada!

computer scientists: we have invented a virtual dumbass who is constantly wrong tech CEOs: let's add it to every product

How incredibly lucky I feel to have been in the path of totality and have clear skies to enjoy it. The eclipse was amazing.

I wrote about a sad barfing coffee machine I've been thinking about a lot, and the people pulling the wires out of the walls everywhere you look. defector.com/the-coffee-m...

Found a Persimmon tree along the trail while on a bike ride. I picked some and baked them into muffins.

“we’d go bankrupt if we paid our workers what they’re asking” yeah me too, that’s why I do not get to have a company

The Bears have to fully commit to the double tank at this point, no?

When I was little, I remember riding in Grandpa's old truck and being able to see the road pass beneath us through a hole in the floor below my feet. Although, in that case I think it was a hole caused by rust rather than a gap between floorboards. It was a fun visual.
