This is why elected officials need to listen to their constituents when we call on issues. We know what the bills say, because we’ve done our research. Pretty sad when collective citizens are doing these reps’ jobs better than they are.

🌈 Happy Pride Month ♥️

ICE is a terrorist organization.

If vomit were a person. 👇🏼

Ooooh, now I get it. The orange one’s hatred for PBS is personal.

Today is the first day this once-feral, skittish kitty has curled up next to me on the couch since I brought her home in February. Looks like I have a new writing buddy. 🥹

Legislators in the so-called “pro-life” party refuse to pass common sense gun laws that would help prevent school shootings, and now support an administration that plans cuts to mental health programs. Make it make sense.

Hype-quotes only for me. Dunk-quoting is such a lazy way to engage on social media. I’d love to see this practice die over in The Bad Place.

I’ve lost loved ones to both of these horrible diseases. This move is straight up diabolical.

#Easter is an important day for many and sharing a meal is a traditional part of this celebration. People like Betty who harvests carrots in CA’s Central Coast, make these sacred meals possible. #WeFeedYou

One of my relatives is in his 60s and lives in Port Charlotte, Florida. He attended his first protest today, and I am prouder than words can express.

Boise, Idaho says: Fascism is here — WAKE UP AMERICA ✊🏼

This is the message Idahoans need to hear! No more dismissive form letters from our congressmen who are listening to lobbyists over their constituents.

🔵 friends in 🔴 states: today is a good day to remind your senators that the SAVE Act would backfire spectacularly on them. It would make voting more difficult for women, elderly, and low-income individuals — demographics that are a significant part of the Republican base, at least here in Idaho.

Ugh, I hate it when my posts get seen. People love to pick you apart and argue about nothing, don’t they?

Pretty much everyone on Bluesky is smarter than me and I love it. Upon joining, I immediately followed the Science feed, and 10/10 would recommend. I’m here to normalize shutting up and listening when you’re not the smartest person in the room.

My heart breaks everyday we continue to tear families apart. I can’t stop thinking about Kilmar, his family, and the likelihood that there are more people like him being unjustly detained or deported. This cruelty must end.

I’m experiencing some strong flee-to-a-country-with-a-woman-president urges today. Of course it’s not doable, either for me or the majority of other Americans, but a girl can dream, right?

Can confirm. I had a client who used to work for Tesla so I’ve heard stories. Apparently he was a ding dong ten years ago, so I can only imagine what he’s like now.

I took today away from news to try to not give into the terror of watching our very carefully planned retirement savings evaporate & returned to learn of this 💔 Do NOT look away.

Just left a few friendly voicemails for my state representatives via the @5calls.org app. Stopped just short of asking them to take their balls back; settled for “I’m asking you to do your job… to do what’s right for Idaho’s economy.” Gee, I wonder what their response will be. 🦗🦗🦗

In our house, we decided “liberation day” should instead be libation day, so we dissociated with a bottle of wine and some Handmaid’s Tale. Nolite te bastardes carborundorum, bitches.

The only Ponzi scheme in this country I’m aware of is a goober billionaire attempting to sway elections with oversized checks and a toddler’s dance moves

cory booker is the bluesky of senators so today makes total sense

OK, America. It’s your time to shine…

Every. Damn. Time. No drag queens, no trans people. Evangelicals. Every. Damn. Time.

Dear American citizens, whatever you wish more German citizens would have done in 1933, do that now.

“The lady doth protest too much” comes to mind here.
