I’m repeating myself here, but it’s important. USA is NOT an individual world power. Our influence, wealth, security all rely on relationships with like-minded democratic nations around the world. We get 70% of foreign intel from others. We get most of our wealth from free trade partnerships.

Cory Booker speaks and America listens (finally). Even MAGA is listening, although for other reasons. Sane republicans (all three) have realized that his marathon speech has ignited a movement. Not a Democratic Party, a movement. Others got the message and are finally finding their voices.

For those who appreciate irony, I have a winter snowbird place in Arizona with a fukton of Canadian neighbors. Most of them opposed Trudeau and thought Trump would be “a great choice”. They’re all selling their Az homes and have gone back to the great white north now bcuz of the trade war shitstorm.
