Yeah it was good. Dinner last night. Sort of fusion. Mainly Mediterranean influence. The sweet spicy smoky salmon glaze had an Asian spin. Salmon had zaatar and things on it. Pomegranate, chopped pistachio, parsley, garlic, etc… gremolata on top. Served over couscous #food #foodie #cooking #yum

I once heard, can’t remember the source, that the “National Dish” of any country is no more than 150 years old. In ‘National Dish’ Anya Von Bremzen explores this idea for France, Italy, Japan, Mexico and Turkey in a well written Foodie tour de force. A very enjoyable read, but then I am a Foodie.😆
