The smell of dirt in my garden. The spiders in my garden that eat the bugs that eat my garden's crops. The way beans climb up stalks of corn. The moths that take naps in the corn's leaves. How eagerly a plant bounces back from the brink of death once you fix an issue. How deeply they want to live.

Everything looks lovely and magic to me, but I don't think my chicken agree. They run from their coop to a little sheltered spot in the morning and right back to the coop in the evening. I can tell they dont venture further by the lack of chickenshaped footsteps anywhere else. 🐓 #garden #chicken
