Someone I sort of thirst-followed on Instagram has posted a Starmer/Macron fan edit on stories, and said Starmer's statesmanship has made her 'proud to British'. Difficult times for me

We need to move beyond these outdated notions of 'having a job' and 'going to work'. I shouldn't have to do these things

Woman on my neighbourhood WhatsApp group posted earlier to say she was too tired/ill to go to the shops and could someone kindly post a choc ice or Feast through her letterbox? People are using the magic of the internet in incredible ways

Post a picture of you from a different era. 1995/6, a truly hipster setup with my sick AC Milan training top, and SWOS on the Amiga

Margo, delighted to be photographed as always

Great crested grebe. Underrated

'Austerity' was the word we used in the Coalition years, but it became unpopular so we just stopped calling it that, job done 👍

Challenge for the reader here to identify the difference between "efficiency savings" and "austerity-driven cuts." Aside from the spelling.

Genuine thrill to pull into the office car park and see my boss' car isn't there. Log on to see an email saying she's off sick today and I'm feeling only a tiny bit guilty about how relieved I am. Think this might be confirmation that I need a new job

One thing about the office I think I'd miss if I worked from home is the sense of camararderie you get from talking to other people who also fucking hate their jobs and can't wait to get out of here

9am on a Sunday and I've already been called a misogynist on Twitter by a transphobic 'Michael Jackson Is Innocent' account. Good morning

Made the mistake of tweeting about JK Rowling and have ruined my life over there, what's going on over here

if you took the "black and white" approach since 2016 that you cannot trust any tories and they are all malevolent or incompetent you would have been correct 100% of the time which is 100% more than dunt has managed in the same time

Who is this for? I don't mean that rhetorically. Literally, who? What sliver of the UK electorate simultaneously a) wants these policies b) will switch **from Reform to Labour** because of them c) will be swayed by the mortifying, GCSE Bitesize Grammar Module execution of those mocked-up texts?

Chippy tea to celebrate five years since my last haircut #moneysavingexpert

My job is so boring lately that I'm actually enjoying having a monumentally incompetent coworker, as cleaning up their many baffling mistakes is giving me things to do
