This weekend I took the plunge and created my first ever multi tier fully decorate cake which I have dubbed a “lemon overload cake”. This was a surprise for my sister who just brought my niece ‘Lily’ into the world 🥰 Whilst this isn’t as clean as I’d like, I’m so proud that I managed to finish it 😇

Made a lemon layer cake yesterday for the first time - learned a lot by how things didn’t quite go to plan 😂 Sponge was dense, have never made buttercream or piped anything before so was just trying different patterns on top and this is the result 😇 #baking
