I usually try to keep as strictly canon as possible and just add stuff to background as it were, buuuttttt in her AU version, the paladin quests aren't a thing. She still got her job stone in Ul'dah but she swore a real oath and became a knight-errant

Basically: don't do it. It's a bad idea. M'ahina is choosy about her partners (read: makes excuses not to get romantically close), but when she violates her own rule she gets attached to people very easily. But also having a fear of abandonment, if she notices the attachment, she will leave first 🙂
