Living with ptsd is like navigating a minefield every day. Step on a mine and you relive old trauma, as mentally anguishing as a stab wound in the gut. Certain thoughts may be mines. Certain actions may be mines. Hearing or seeing the wrong thing may be a mine. The minefield might change sometimes.
