In a few hours I'll be starting a week of solo parenting. Wonder when he'll realise he's not going to 'stralia with Mammy

Please can everyone listen to Geek Gods: Sir Ian Livingstone at 4pm and midnight please? Tell everyone about it too. Radio 4 Extra : BBC Sounds thereafter.

Trying to add another dimension to my reading spreadsheets, primarily to remove the need to select "Comic" as a genre. Media choices of "Comic", "Prose", or "Audiobook"? Prose feels off, somehow, but it should cover fiction and non-fiction

The digital progs are really good. One major plus point is that the text scales with zooming, none of that horrible artifacting when you look closer. I would love to see a higher resolution page, though. Storage is cheap so make the files good for the next generations of displays.

I don't think an option of excluding news topics is a good idea, but I also do not need to be made aware of Royals drawing pictures, or ex-Royals creating new brands

That's enough front page stories about bitcoin rubbish tip guy, thank you very much

Finally saw the episode of Bluey with Dad being pregnant. Straight into top 5 all time episodes.

Started reading that Dune book. Stupid idea, really, as it's a long book and I have things to do

Daryl's written a sweet little look back at my lockdown streaming which I always think back on incredibly fondly!

"Oh, there it is, silly old universe." Ink and markers on a Post-It Note. I guess I'd say after Tom that Peter Capaldi has been my favourite as the Timelord, I mean it's impossible to pick a favourite really but as dour older Scotsman something clicked.

I'll just double the recipe for some freezer food... I've underestimated this

Offer up a 2m tall wardrobe on gumtree, making it clear the taker would need to deconstruct and transport it. "Would I need a van?". Nah, I'm sure you can carry it.

We reckon the wee one's sleep patterns suggest he only needs 11 hours sleep in a 24 hour period to be his usual active self. So if I look tired...

That's an absolute bargain!

Bought some trains for the boy from Reuse Scotland last week. Turned the box over to find they're cursed. Wonder if they'll ever be "As seen on TV".

I'd forgotten how knackered the display on the pressure cooker is.

Excited to see that Viz are releasing The Climber. I'm guessing that it's double volumes since it's 400+ pages.

@stoutstoat.co.uk Hope this isn't too intrusive, but I think you posted recently about wanting a kitchen order bar thing for tracking tasks, and then I saw this: davidseah.com/node/the-tas...

"I keep losing the detergent ball. I'm sure I'll be able to get a spare one for a pound on ebay."

I have a Tintin t-shirt on this morning, so I've been fielding "What's the boy doing?" questions from the little one. I'd show him some of the cartoons, but I don't really want to explain guns just yet
