People think heroes in folktales are buff guys with swords. In reality the heroes are overwhelmingly "Old Woman with some nouse, a plan and maybe a bit of magic". Hell, load of the time even sword dude goes to the old woman to help as he's clueless. They dominate. Old women are where it's at.
