The NSF cuts are nothing short of a scorched-earth attack on US science, orchestrated w/political cynicism & total disregard for US scientific leadership. Hadn't realized that #preprints have higher levels of identity-confirmation scrutiny than regular pub submission sites. "gmail.com" emails get flagged and subject to more review as a best practice. Total news to me. #SSP2025 🤔
