Let’s be clear on this: DOGE is not saving money by finding waste or fraud. DOGE is the world’s richest person cutting services to veterans and seniors. Its “savings” are akin to you saving money by deciding not to eat or pay for electricity. Yes you spend less, but not without consequences.

Trump pulling Stefanik's nomination is remarkable. He is admitting that his second term has started so badly that he is afraid of losing a district that has been deeply red since 2014. Can't say I blame the guy -- the Dems have won so many special elections because of him.

Trump's new tariffs as so obviously payback for his buddy Elon. Tesla can't give away cars overseas now that Trump and Musk have alienated the entire world, so the only way forward is to make competitors more expensive. Too bad Hyundai makes a better product, and now builds them in Georgia.

The President saying that the security leak had "no impact at all" is a pretty lame attempt to minimize the magnitude of the problem. That's like a drunk driver telling a police officer that it's OK because he didn't kill anybody... this time.
