My LI post about my roundtable at DICE - www.linkedin.com/posts/browne...

San Francisco next!

Pokemon kiosk now at grocery store …. All Sold Out.

And yes we won the go-karting again and I even beat the fastest lap of the week! Huzzah for Team ONE!

DICE was inspiring as always ; the people in this industry drive us on. Some great discussions on trying to fix the myriad of industry problems, but we still need help from those who control the purse strings.

Fantastic couple of roundtables ar DICE ; legends in attendance!

Going through some boxes over the holidays turned up some treasured items. None stirred my memories more than this. A piece I wrote many years ago tells why - www.timeextension.com/features/an-...

Wonderful article on an all time classic. The early Lucasfilm Games stuff was absolutely legendary - www.eurogamer.net/40-years-on-...

Deeply honored to have been asked to join the advisory team at Vivrato by my long time friend and industry legend Adam Boyes. We've known each other for many years, I've always been a huge fan of Adam's passion not just for games and the industry but his genuine concern for its well being.

You’ve no idea how wonderful a sight this is in LA right nos. Not too much at once though please!

Wonderful individual, gracious with this time, a leader like no other for both Insomniac and the AIAS. I first met Ted back in 1995 on the backlot at Universal, we tried to get Spyro back to Insomniac for the PS2 together - but sadly failed. Well earned. www.gamesindustry.biz/insomniac-ga...

If you're in Las Vegas next month for DICE ; do join in!

Shall be doing this little thing next month. Leading a roundtable and trying to knock some sense into the industry in terms of sustainable development and building IP sensibly.

Community note. If you see any muthrfkr trying to play politics with the fire situation in Los Angeles and its not about Climate Change, block their ass. There’s no political points here, there’s a climate disaster caused by humans being greedy.

Power’s out, fires burning everywhere, so a final piece of history. Back in the day at THQ we went to visit a start up in Heavy Iron’s old Culver City building as they were seeking investment. They did quite well I hear.

Ah yes, wind events in Los Angeles. Hate this.

Early Project Manager days at Domark. Skull & Crossbones port, “Fish” did the 8-bit Z80 versions I think.

I put this comic back together in 1992 at Psygnosis as a part of a pitch for “IDEAL”. Shots came from an early SoftImage test Neil Thompson did. It later became the basis of Krazy Ivan.

That.

Little bit of history ; my interview schedule when I went to interview at Bungie to replace Alex Seropian when he decided to move back to Chicago. That whippersnapper Phil Spencer up first!

Christmas blast from the past ; the Domark Christmas card from 1994. We became quite famous for doing these, mostly Mark and Dom in the early years ; they were great fun to be a part of. . . . (for younger readers Domark > Eidos > Square Enix Europe.

First full time job? I’d written a couple of games freelance with a mate, wasn’t good enough and knew it. So I went to work for Domark (for the younger folk Eidos …. Or uh Square Enix).
