R.I.P. English language. An entire generation says “verse” instead of “versus”. “All the sudden” instead of “all of a sudden”. “Upmost” instead of “utmost”. “On accident” instead of “by accident”. With the “to, too, two” errors and “there, they’re, their” - it’s SO over, English. I’ll miss you.

Went home to Toba for a terrible reason, big bro has cancer; but man I loved being home just the same, there is nothing like being back with my family. Precious time spent, and so majorly heartbreaking to leave. I always leave my heart in Manitoba.

Day 2 of snow cocoon was also awesome, with big Sunday brunch (Ric loves those) and a nice little visit with my son, then hosted an appies and convo sesh for my girl friends in the evening. This morning the cocoon was hard to leave, just to return to a minus 22 Monday morning. Gross!

Day 1 of snow cocoon has been awesome, this morning MIL took me shopping, bought me new clothes, I fetched ample grocery supply. Made a delicious roast beef dinner, did a few house chores today then watched classic Christmas movies with fireplace on. Kids are safe & loved. Wine for stepmom. 🍷

I really enjoyed the Grey Cup half time show, and I think the Jonas Brothers are wicked talented. It’s ok to like many different kinds of music. If you need permission, there it is. Don’t be afraid to be content, or even, dare I say, entertained, by something out of your usual tastes.
