The Wingull update 🔊✨ I've been toying with the environment's atmosphere and details, stuff like caustics, footsteps, decals, etc. Also added a touch of handpainting to Squirtle's diffuse!

See Harley Quinn for protagonists that say what normal ppl say, but it's okay bc they're villians 😆 Or Metaphor: Refantazio for complicated but very principled heros done right

Finally reading Absolution by Jeff Vandermeer, waited a long time for the library to get it. Something about the way it's written immediately puts me to sleep though, I'm never finishing this book lol. Just a little too stream of consciousness

So I'm working on a novel and I just completed a 36-page brief (summaries, characters, story beats, settings, writing samples) and no one warns you how worldbuilding makes you feel absolutely looney tunes. I'm just staring and thinking "What IS this? Is this anything? Who did this"

A mandrake in the forest! If you can defeat it you can take it home and bake it into a pie. #gamedev
