@maddow.msnbc.com Dems used to be the party of the little guy, while Repubs were the party of rich people and big business. Repubs threw out some cultural red meat, and now blue collar people see Dems as the elitists. Dems need to shift back to an economic message.

Democrats should mention Musk's cruelty, illustrated in the story in Wired: "The Gruesome Story of How Neuralink’s Monkeys Actually Died"

Dems should operate the way Teddy Kennedy did: make a speech explaining what he wanted and why, and then negotiate with Repubs to get as much of that as possible. He didn't handicap himself by trying to be "bipartisan". Why announce, ahead of time, that you're expecting to settle for less?

Tomorrow, I'll be watching the inauguration with my dragon rings on.

Democrats need to find a charismatic leader who can combine the passion of Warren and Sanders with the joy of Harris and Walz.
