I was planning to sit out on a volunteer event tonight so I could get some work done, but we are currently having some Problems with one of our members and I don’t want to leave my co-volunteer alone with him if he shows up. This sucks for a lot of reasons!

My volunteer org sends a few committee members to a ✨fancy✨ awards ceremony every year and I really wanted to go but didn’t think I’d get to since I went last year. But things have worked out in my favor!

One thing I left out of this story yesterday is that my friend had never been in my bedroom before because I’d been too embarrassed. (It was especially bad yesterday, but it’s always been a mess in there.) I didn’t want to let them in yesterday either.
