I guess my question is: why is the federal government funding a wealthy, private university to the tune of $400M in the first place? I get some research grants are important, but $400M? This is why doubt seeps in.

Would love to see a Ukrainian F-16 take out one of these puppies, Russian TU-95 bombers. These cowards fire missiles at Ukrainian cities, killing civilians, from outside Ukrainian airspace. Some covert tanker support would do the trick.
