like okay I’ll be honest… do I expect that the little mouse will be okay? no. if it was okay it would’ve run away as soon as it saw me. I just… hope I’m able to keep it safe and comfortable until its end comes. I’m basically just a hospice nurse for this little creature.

I guess I have a pet mouse now after a week or so if the little one is still with us I’ll get a permanent home for it keeping an eye on it because if it *was* poisoned, I don’t want to just throw it outside to end up poisoning something else that goes after it
