The ASICS Novablast 5 is an excellent, versatile daily trainer and the best Novablast version to date. Version 5 is a big upgrade over version 4, becoming lighter, more comfortable and more lively. It performs better over long distances and on uptempo runs than its predecessor. #running

The New Balance Fresh Foam X Balos v1 is a premium daily trainer that is lightweight, soft, and very bouncy on your feet. It’s a great daily trainer for all those easy miles but is limited in its ability to feel good on those fast days. #running

The Hoka Mach X 2 is a great speed trainer with a versatile ride. It has a softer ride than most speed trainers but it has a high level of energy. Version 2 has a more breathable upper, a more cushioned ride and a more aggressive plate than the original version #running #runningshoes

The Brooks Glycerin Max is a great maximalist daily trainer with a balanced and stable ride. It has a brand new DNA Tuned midsole which delivers a medium-soft and relatively versatile ride but doesn’t offer a high level of bounce or energy return.

The On Cloudboom Strike is a good racer which is best suited to forefoot strikers. It has a thick insole that doubles up as the midsole to provide a bouncy, cushioned ride but it doesn’t feel as fast as other super shoes due to it not having a very prominent rocker. #running

The Nike Zoom Fly 6 is a decent speed trainer that’s best suited to tempo, fartlek, and long runs. It doesn’t feel as lively as some of the other speed trainers and it’s lacking in excitement; it is however the fastest Nike trainer currently available. #running #runningshoes
