Daily Pokemon art practice #455: Carnivine I definitely made the teeth too small, but Carnivine is still a really fun, goofy, threatening plant who deserves a lot more love (and maybe an evolution if Game Freak feels generous).

Daily Pokemon art practice #454: Toxicroak It never occurred to me before, but Toxicroak is wearing glasses.

Daily Pokemon art practice #453: Croagunk I feel like this guy's underrated in my own mind. I always overlook him, but he's pretty cool.

It looks like my tax return is going to hit my bank account two days before the core book for The World Below finally releases. I wouldn't call this "perfect timing", I'd call it "the universe giving me a direct order".

Daily Pokemon art practice #452: Drapion So many segmented parts, it felt like drawing Onix again. Very fun. :D Also, at some point I need to start rotating the paper when drawing horizontal Pokemon.

Daily Pokemon art practice #451: Skorupi I may have done the head wrong, but I like how the rest of it turned out at least.

Daily Pokemon art practice #450: Hippowdon I like how the sand turned out on this one. Experimented a little by rubbing a graphite stick on a sandpaper block and trying to dab the shavings on there, but that didn't work out, so I just tapped it with the stick instead.

#126 of the pokedex project Magmar I was originally doing this in color but I had a few setbacks and ended up tracing my lineart from that to redo in regular pencil cuz the colors just weren't coming out the way I wanted and such. Blergh.

Daily Pokemon art practice #449: Hippopotas Today's sketch might be hard to see due to being camouflaged.

Daily Pokemon art practice #448: Lucario Not sure how I feel about this one today, I think I'm just a little too hungry and grumpy but it doesn't seem like it came together all that well. Also, does Lucario wear shorts, or just have weird legs? :p

Daily Pokemon art practice #447: Riolu Easily my #1 favorite NFE Pokemon. Riolu is just so simultaneously cute and cool, and I love his little guy energy. I have nothing against Lucario, but evolving a Riolu always feels like a downgrade to me.

I bought a little wooden boy to help with my drawing

I wanted to do a side-by-side to show the difference that blending stumps can make. I didn't add any more shading in between, literally all I did was rub the blending stump over it, and look how much smoother and darker everything is. These things aren't just tubes of paper, they're actually magic!

Daily Pokemon art practice #446: Munchlax *walking down the street* *sees food* *walking stops* That's what I envision every time I see Munchlax's art.

Daily Pokemon art practice #445: Garchomp Felt like an off day today. I couldn't get parts to line up right, and drew slightly too big and cut off the tip of the tail and one of the claws. I'll focus up for tomorrow's drawing for sure!

In fourth grade music class, we were divided into two groups to alternate singing parts of a song. I got in trouble -- and sent to a counselor -- for silently mouthing along to the part that wasn't mine so I could keep my rhythm and timing when it was time for my group to sing again.

Question for my followers, because it's something that's been on my mind recently. If I were to start taking commissions, what would be a fair price for me to start at with my current skill level?

Daily Pokemon art practice #444: Gabite Our round little land shark got a little taller and longer!

Daily Pokemon art practice #443: Gible A chonky chomper

Daily Pokemon art practice #442: Spiritomb One of the few Pokemon that I haven't obtained for myself in any game. It's a living(?) sidequest that I never managed to complete.

Daily Pokemon art practice #441: Chatot Chatot had a really cool unique gimmick in Gen 4 where you could use the DS' microphone to record voice lines or sound effects, and Chatot would replay them in battle. Unfortunately, we lost that gimmick because people can't be trusted with nice things. :(

Daily Pokemon art practice #440: Happiny May I offer you a nice (slightly squished) egg in these trying times? ...I have a feeling I've already used that joke for one of these sketches. Possibly two.

Daily Pokemon art practice #439: Mime Jr. Probably the least frightening clown you'll ever see.

Daily Pokemon art practice #438: Bonsly Little panic plant/not plant

Pathfinder 2e character concept, inspired by reading the Guns & Gears remaster PDF: An elf inventor whose prototype weapon is a collapsible/extendable spear, which also has the dual form trait to adjust itself into a longbow that stores specialized arrows.

Busting into the #tuliptuesday photography hashtag with a tulip sketch from 2day. I mean it *is* a photo, so... #funtography #bloomscrolling #sketchy

Daily Pokemon art practice #437: Bronzong One of my underrated favorites from Gen 4. I just really love this design!

I've watched the teaser for the Fantastic Four movie a couple times now, and something that stands out to me is that they show every character using their power except Reed. It makes me think either the effects for his elasticity look terrible, or he's getting a different power set like Kamala did.

All the paint has worn off my pop socket and it's just a blank white canvas now, I kind of want to paint something on it but can't decide what. Leaning towards either a d20 or a Pokeball. ...or maybe a Pokeball in the shape of a d20.

People who tell you "that's just for kids, you can't enjoy that" are people who have forgotten what joy is and just want everyone to be as miserable as they are. Enjoy what you want, as long as it's not something that hurts others. There's no age limit on fun.

#125 of the pokedex project: Electabuzz! I started this like a week ago but only did it in little bits and I feel it came out a bit disjointed compared to the prior works. Kinda went through the motions to finish. 😔 #Art #Pokemon #Drawing #Handdrawn #Traditionalart

Daily Pokemon art practice #436: Bronzor Really proud of the shading AND circles on this one.

@netherrealmstudios.bsky.social knows that most people hate the Invasions mini-games, right? They're way too difficult, to the point that you don't even feel good about completing them. I spent at least half an hour on a Block Buster and got no reward for it. That isn't fun or satisfying at all.

Daily Pokemon art practice #435: Skuntank Really like how this one turned out!

This is Jerry Lawson. He invented the video game cartridge for the Fairchild Channel F system. Because of his invention, many consoles had cartridges and CD formats and would become the norm. The Atari 2600, NES, Genesis, and many consoles wouldn't exist without him. Happy Black History Month.

Daily Pokemon art practice #434: Stunky "Ey, what're you lookin' at?"

Daily Pokemon art practice #433: Chingling *sound of tiny bells tinkling softly*

Daily Pokemon art practice #432: Purugly I disagree. You're Puretty.

Daily Pokemon art practice #431: Glameow That twisty tornado of a tail was pretty fun :D

Daily Pokemon art practice #430: Honchkrow Feels like a long time since I drew a bird with an extended wing. Drawing those feathers really threw me off. I also forgot to include the date on this one before scanning it, just pretend it says 1/28/2025 so I don't have to re-scan it, lol
