This is back surgery I had on 5/28/24. I could barely walk before it. Fixed my scoliosis & blown discs. Now I can stand up straight & walk without much pain at all. UCSF is the bomb! And my surgeon turns 40 next month. He’s just a bit precocious 😉

Our backyard in San Francisco last January. It’s only 25’x40’. The blooming shrub in the middle is Ceanothus “Dark Star”. Flowers are loved by bees & bumblebees, plus lots of little birds (especially Townsend’s Warblers & Chestnut-sided Chickadees)

Our now 14 year old terrier mix Roxie, still full of life & energy. Sisters Ria & Smurf (Smurf is the fluffy one) demonstrating “If I fits, I sits”. They’re 17 months old.
