Extra points if you say it out loud. My teenage kids still occasionally shout out Batman when they see enough elderly ladies in one place. And yes, I consider that a very proud parent moment. 🙂

Think this could be word of the year so far.

Currently on a mission to have as varied a diet as possible to improve gut health. Supermarket had mint leaves but no parsley so plans for a Persian meal have been thwarted. A mojito is almost as healthy - right? #MojitoTuesday

TEACHERS, LIBRARIANS, PARENTS! If you're looking for a free bookish activity for your kids, here's a lesson-long virtual school visit I did with @booktrust.bsky.social, all about how I went from being a young reader to writing books like Varjak Paw & Tyger! #BookSky www.youtube.com/watch?v=YWHw...

I have a feeling that today may be remembered as a momentous culinary breakthrough. Thing 2 has announced that she is having yule log and poppadoms for lunch.

"Everything happens for a reason" Or maybe it is just due to the dead disrupting the afterlife and there's money to be made? Try my romantic comedy today - you'll never guess the twist at the end! amzn.to/42I9t6i #booksky

In the classic 'Christmas Carol' tale, spirits visit Scrooge and tell him the error of his miserly ways. What if the dead disrupted the afterlife to earn some cash by visiting the living and giving them a few life lessons? This romantic comedy is not about chocolates and roses... amzn.to/4jz0biF

Either one of our squirrels thinks we're due a really cold winter, or she hasn't been reading the books that claim squirrels give birth in the spring...

Had a delayed winter solstice BBQ last night so now my Christmas jumper smells of charcoal smoke. Might try eating yule log on the summer solstice just to even things up.

I love that the car park is open from 05.15 but people are encouraged to use public transport! Erm, what will be running then and how close to the stones does it run? 🤔 BBC News - Stonehenge winter solstice: Thousands expected for sunrise - BBC News www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...

Bond Villain Sharks.

My two favourite wild species urban encounters are: 1) When a muntjac deer raced down the street amongst school children walking to school. They blinked and it was gone and they continued their conversation as if nothing had happened. I think they convinced themselves it was a dog.

Forget MasterChef, we have created our own masterpiece. Cornflake AND Rice Krispies chocolate bites. A discovery born out of not having enough of either to make a complete batch. I would attach a photo, but, yeah, they've already been scoffed. Sorry, not sorry. 😄

Most accurate Venn diagram I've seen!

That a dude with a couple cameras and a plate of appetizers can make something worth $82.5 million and a media company looks at that and goes "couldn't we make even more money if we had AI do it?" tells you exactly how stupid these people are

So today I am mainly looking forward to watching the Muppets Christmas Carol.

I'm giving the Duckduckgo browser a try. I can't cope with Google's AI-driven search results, Reddit discussions and sponsored results being force-fed to me on every search. It's pretty good so far - no ads on search results, nor on YouTube videos.

The writer subconscious working in different ways for two people at the same time 🙂 @joannechocolat.bsky.social @jenniegauthor.bsky.social

So today I learned that if you put 'the Muppets' into the gif search you get a whole screen of moving Muppets. Makes me feel like a kid again! #muppets
