How can active speakers exist with "60W power consumption" VS "120W output". After some reading I understand 120W is the max power the speaker (cone, etc.) can handle. But I also hear amps can actually output more than the consumption. Is this because of energy storage in for example capacitors?

A lot of fundamental truth comes down to non-dualism. Take for example musical elitism. “This one classical composition is timelessly different, while 100 pop songs all sound very similar”. Point is, we can look at the 100 pop songs as 1 entity too. Nothing (cultural/creative) exists in isolation.
