The quickest way to get a cereal with fewer than five ingredients is to remove the ‘fortification’ that gets routinely added to them – vitamins, minerals, iron, etc. Same is true for bread and several other products. It’s less “processing”, but it’s definitely not an improvement.

I’m off to see Itch at @operahollandpark.bsky.social tonight - a masterpiece of contemporary family-friendly opera. It’s a bit of a gloomy day for it, but a CONSIDERABLE improvement on the weather it had for almost every performance of the original run.

There is a type of British person that complains all the time that their town is shit, but then actively opposes anything which could make it better (and don't you dare suggest reducing the amount of cars, they'll get mad!). Particularly active on the comments to local news on Facebook.

I am off to The Cheese Bar in Seven Dials Market (like conveyor-belt sushi but for cheese) for their all-you-can-eat Wednesday deal. It’s my second visit there. This time I will be mindful of my digestion and remember that the unlimited plates deal is an offer, not a challenge…

The ENO season is on sale. With my fave mid-priced seats (dress circle slips) withheld from sale, and no multibuy discount on the cheapest seats in the Balcony. Which is a REALLY good way of making me not book anything in advance, and instead to wait for deals to come up. 🤷🏻‍♀️
