I was actually just discussing this concept with a CxO the other day. Hiring the perfect 7+/-2 team is, counterintuitively, a massive liability to a company. No team lasts forever, and magic teams can't be replaced. Instead, I like to focus on building great systems that produce great people.

Tuberculosis outbreaks in Kansas and North Carolina and yet I’ve not seen a single media outlet mention wearing masks. In fact masks are banned in North Carolina. A good respirator protects from more than just Covid. The people deserve to know how to keep themselves safe.
