This story is wild. Son of a CIA Deputy Director was killed in 2024 while fighting under contract for Russia's military.   He described himself "as a supporter of the multipolar world". He seems to have been influenced by that cadre of 'anti-imperialists' who somehow end up backing Putin's regime.
