Incase anyone's wondering how icy it is today I saw a horse fall over down lonesome lane. Luckily rider had dismounted and checked they were both okay before moving on.

One of the barriers will of course be Halfords themselves who don't train their staff on how to put bikes together properly. My friend spent £600+ on a Boardman and it was given to him with gears that don't work and the fork on the wrong way round.

Still want to get a big ride signed up for this year, missed the boat on chase the sun (my own fault) then saw LWL but it's full. Anyone know anything else easily accessible in the south I could look at?

A year since I collected my testing kit from south east rivers trust to carry out river testing in conjunction with river mole river watch @sirgeogy.bsky.social a one handed Brompton ride got the kit safely home! Here's to the next year and if not improved river health then a better understanding!
