Car accident by my house. 2 people involved. Non-fatal. City sent 8 police cars, 3 ambulances, 1 fire truck. My city is 17k people and 7 square miles. Starting to think my taxes might be too high if there are that many cops on duty who can respond to one incident.

Tariffs won't be a problem. We just need to magically find raw materials in the US somewhere, invent new chip technologies we don't have, re-tool all of our factories and refineries, and educate or re-train tens of millions of people. But after that, prices might go down.
